Upon arrival at Crosslands you will be asked to produce your dogs up-to-date vaccination certificate as proof that your dog has had its required annual inoculations. Inoculations must include the kennel cough vaccine (this is insisted upon by the licencing authorities). This must be done at least 10 days before arriving at kennels. If you have a person in the family who is immunocompromised, please speak with us.
If your dog is on medication, we are happy to administer this during his/her stay at the kennels. On arrival you will need to inform the staff of the medication you have brought, clearly labelled with the dogs name. (Where possible please supply medication in original containers). You will be asked to sign a medication form stating the name of the medication, the correct dosage, and the reason for medication. Please ensure you bring enough for the duration of your dogs stay, (plus an extra few days in case of delays). We are happy to administer insulin injections for diabetic dogs; we will need precise instruction on diet/units required per day. Please make the staff aware of any injuries, ongoing problems or behavioural problems your dog may suffer from. We cannot accept dogs which are on medication for infectious diseases.
