Welcome to Crosslands Kennels, Hydrotherapy Centre & Grooming Parlour

Crosslands is a family run business, owned by ourselves, Mike and Julie Jones. Having had many years of experience handling dogs, we bought Crosslands in 2001. We had our first dog, Ben a golden retriever in 1982, and our family of dogs has grown ever since.

We had our first kennel customers, a pair of dalmations, on Friday 13th of April 2001 and since then we have never been without a dog in kennels! We now have more than 850 customers on our database whose visits range from one day to several months. We also have day boarders, who kennel with us whilst their owners are at work.

The kennels are situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, between Cowbridge and Llantwit Major. We are surrounded by open countryside, providing a pleasant, peaceful and relaxed environment for your dog during its stay.

We welcome owners to come and meet the staff and look around the kennels hours, we do viewing appointments at 11.30am or 2pm Monday to Friday and 11.30am Saturday and Sunday
(please contact us to make an appointment). You are welcome to bring your dog to meet us too.
Our customers appreciate that we live on the premises for added security and enabling continuity of care
throughout the night.

As dog owners ourselves, we understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog whilst you go on holiday. Your dog is part of your family, so when choosing a boarding kennels it is important that both you and your dog are happy and comfortable with the environment. Our main objective is to provide a safe, clean and loving environment for all our guests in purpose built, comfortable accomodation.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone at your Kennels for doing such a magnificent jo in looking after our ‘Sophie’, after we had been let down by our previous kennels who stated that they didn’t think they could manager her, how you proved them so wrong, and the confidence you gave us when we left her there, and to be told that she wasn’t any problem when we picked her up.
